People are taken as hostages by their “own” governments. The political elite look at a country’s population as human resources, essential for the creation and accumulation of capital. Fear mongering, keeping people under constant psychological pressure result in anxious masses that willingly buy the populist propaganda of national defense. And with it comes total surveillance and restricted freedom i.e. our slavery.
